i got my first salary and a girl working with me asked me for the money saying that she met with an accident and she is in a police case so i gave.her 7000/- to help her. she promised me that she will give it back.in 2 days. but that day never came up. i informed her parents about it. the girl has left the job. she has taken money from other people also but.me was the one who gave her this amount just to.help her. her parents ate also like her only. they also didnt helped me. what should i do?? please help me. once she came to office but she didnt gave the money , i made her wrote a note that she has taen the money and will return the money when she will get the next salary. but her salary never came. can i do f.i.r. on her? and if yes what are the steps? please help.me

1. As my concern, for sake of 7000/- rs don't make any FIR, because one girl reputation will spoil.
2.Don't think for today after lodging the complaint, how much she need to suffer in her future.
3. Better to collect in smooth way.

In fact your post does not falls in HR category but still with an intention to share with you, my comments on your question are as under:
You, i.e. victim never files FIR. You can file complaint with police station of cheating.
FIR means first information report, is a written document prepared by police on receiving information by victim of cognizable offense or someone else in his behalf.
Now filing complaint with police, no one can stop you but you should have evidence with you that you are cheated. Please bare in mind, one should think thousand times to go to police station, court, advocate, doctor etc. I know that the learned members will object this statement of mine.

While in this specific case it is for the OP to decide , I feel one should always take recourses available, and well in time . A stitch in time saves nine !
It is because one tries to take shortcuts - or forget injustice altogether - that ultimately the bigger crimes happen.
