You should read the book " who moved my cheese" written by Spencor Johnson and you will find the reason as to why big data talent .assumes significance in modern business. In this volatile business environment with seamless boundaries across the Globe and innovative technology, revolutionizing the features of products and demands of customers, the business can survive only if it adapts itself to this fast change. Then, to know what is changing in the markets, the business shall analyse vast volume of information available in various forms so that it can predict customer needs and market trends and technology requirements .to keep itself always on top of the performance vis-a vis it's competitors. For example, once Nokia ruled the mobile market in India and it was almost a household name in tele-communications. However, it remained complacent with it's almost monopolistic market share and became unaware of the much improved models which it's competitors brought into the market. The change did not happen over night but Nokia remained unaware of the change. That's where the Big Data analysts prove critical to business.
