Performance appraisal is the method of measuring the performance of the employee throughout a specific time period. There are a few methods which are in use now.
1. 360-degree performance appraisal: This method is used by many organizations. This method focuses on collecting inputs on employee's performance from versus people in the organization.
2. Reward program: In order to keep an employee motivated company needs to celebrate its employee's achievements. Setting the price of gifts for top-performing employees is part of the process.
3. Manager performance appraisal: In this process, records are kept to measure the growth of the employee.
4. Employee safe service: This is one of the most important one, it helps an employee to take responsibility for their own work.
These are the performance methods used by major organizations right now.
