Dear Mr Amar Bir Singh,
It is nice to see a presentation from your side after quite a while.
I wish to add my comments linked to slide nos 3 and 5.
In slide no 3 it is mentioned that only those bosses who pushed
are remembered as effective. I feel concern for people is equally important.
A popular e mail was under circulation few years ago.
It is about a superior who always pushed his colleagues to get results.
One day a junior colleague promises his wife that he would come home
early and take all the family members to the local fair.
On the same day his superior asks him to stay back and complete an assignment.
The junior colleague makes a polite request and seeks permission to go home early.
The superior asks the reason and denies permission. He is forced to stay back
and complete his task. When he returns home late, he comes to know that his boss had
come in the evening and taken all the family members to the fair !.
The boss was none other than our Honourable Ex President Mr Abdul Kalam!!!
Concern for people is very important and I hope you would like to include it.
I have also attached a version of Blake and Moulton model published 50 years
ago and it is holding good even today.
