Procurement --The Task is to procure all kinds of items such as Light and Heavy vehicle spare parts, Tires, Building Hardware’s, Hand Tools, Power Tools, Electricals, HVAC, Generators, and various other products as per company Procurement guidelines and requirements.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Market Research and Procure of required items,

• Ensuring selection of right vendors for the Requested Materials by Client, & ensure Correct and Timely procurement of required materials.

• Preparing bids and proposals.

• Make recommendations for award/ create purchase orders for local suppliers as well as International Suppliers.

• Ensure complete understanding of bid requirements, scope of work, following pre-bid to clarify, make additions, deletions to quotations/proposals. Planning and conduct competitive negotiations.

• Resolves delivery problems and complaints, vendor disputes.

• Maintain records on purchase price information on both open market and contract purchases.

• Out Source new suppliers for different commodities, Maintain Supplier Data Base and administers vendor performance to evaluate the best suppliers with respect to delivery performance, pricing and quality of materials supplied etc.

• Arrange freight for import of the shipment & process customs clearance documents.

• Provide status reports to management on overall sales/ purchase of material.

• Represent the company at various community and/or business meetings to promote the company.

• Supervise and direct daily work to assigned staff.

• Meeting customers on our premises to discuss their requirements.

• Maintaining good relations with our customers and suppliers.

Dear Sowmiya Srini,

Mr M Sayeed has already given the Job Description (JD) of the position. Even after his reply why you should have a query is not understood. Delete the duties that you did not do from that list and add what you did. Secondly, make sure that you include as many numbers as possible on what you could increase or decrease. This is very important.

From the list of KRAs, you may find what KRAs were applicable. In the interview, give an explanation of how did you attain those KRAs. The information that you provide in the interview should be as much factual as possible. Therefore, these KRAs are important for you.
