Dear Sir,
Even the condition is so worst that,it's very tough to get interview calls from company like TCS,WIPRO,INFOSYS,means like big MNC companies. Why do they focus only on campus placement. They can have ample of talents outside the campus also.If any one is not having references then, it should be considered that his or her study is worthless.

Dear Shewta,

Please tell your brother, he is not the only one who is facing this problem. There are many like him, who had already faced and resolved it, So would he!

Please connect him with every job opportunity that you find on this board. there are many jobs posted for freshers. Its no big deal to land one. A premium league is a dream for every student. There is nothing wrong with it. Ask him to target it right. He may choose to join a company as soon as possible and then gradually work his way up.

Do keep the options for start-up as well. The point being, he will get the maximum amount of exposure in start-ups. He may not have a flashy brand but the learning he will gain is beyond what he can gain on any other role.

Guide him to stay focussed on learning in his early years. This would take him a long way later on .

I am sharing this post with the IT Talent Acquisition team members who are here in this community. We know he is going to be a great success. God bless him!

Hi Shwetha,
Advice your brother not to let his courage fall back. He has not yet completed his bachelors, and if he is frustrated at this moment, then what about people who have passed out 7 years back. There were no campus at that time. Life has become so easy for many freshers nowadays, with these campuses in place.
Make him understand what life is. There are lot more challenges he has to face when he is out of college. Many of us, still think about our college life, as that was the period when we had minimum responsibility when compared with the present.
However once your brother has done with his boards, ask him to shoot me a mail with his CV. Please ensure that the subject line should be "RESUME - Referred through CiteHR"
I would try my level best to pull him in. Wish him good luck!

Dear Shweta,
I know of a person who was Vice President of Global Strategy in USA, who is out of job for the past 18 months. Forty+ years ago it took months to get my first job even after getting the degree from IISc. When I emigrated to Uk in 1962, I knew friends who had no job for 9 months. Even now, in the UK, it takes months for a fresher to get a job. Getting frustrated and dejected is no way to go about. To keep him engaged let him do some voluntry work; our daughter worked for charities.
Have a nice day.
