Hello Fellow HR comrades,
I am trying to bulid an excel spreadsheet that forecasts an employees next performance appraisal due date. I currently have a long list of employees, their start dates and when their last appraisal was complete. But there must be a better way to format it or report from it so I can see what reviews I need to do this month.
if anyone has anything that may assist I would dearly enjoy some assistance.
Thank you Kindly

Hi Samij,
Let me ask you few questions before getting into the suggestion mode
How big is the list and what is the turnover ratio
How frequently you do the assessment (Quarterly, Half or Annual)
if you have a longer list then i would suggest you to have a timeline for everybody....may be those who join post Sep 30th may not be eligible for annual assessment for that particular year..... n i think if you follow this, you may have to do the assessment for every one at the end of the year keeping in mind whatever the month they have joined and It is very easy for you to assess based on the vintage too
It you have a very minimal number then may be you can have an excel sheet prepared wherein make the DOJ as a unique key and caclulate their vintage and use the conditional format with colors for different stage
hope this is clear .....
