In a factory having more than 2000 employees employed, can assistant welfare officer be appointed?

You must be knowing that we are to appoint Welfare Officers as per requirement of section 49 of the Factories Act, 1948. For appointment of number of Welfare Officers & their designation we will have to go through your applicable State Welfare Officers Recruitment & Conditions of Service Rules. In the state of Haryana, if we are to appoint two WO then then one of them shall be called as Chief welfare Officer & the other as Assistant Welfare Officer.
