I have learnt silence from the talkative, toleration from the intolerant, and kindness from the unkind; yet strange, I am ungrateful to these teachers.

Kahlil Gibran is really unconventional in his preachings.Yes. A teacher is not merely one who shared his knowledge with us but also those who teach us by their own conduct as to what we shall not do.This is a subtle way of being grateful to them who silently contributed to your evolution. Thanks MR.AVS.

Hello Mr AVS again a good quote.
Mr B.Sai Kumar has kindled some old thoughts by
referring to the legendary Khalil Gibran.
His poem beginning with a series of ‘Pity the nation that … ‘
also educates us on similar lines.
Learning is of two kinds.
One set tells “how to be”.
The other one emphasizes on ‘how not to be’
Khalil Gibran is very adept in the latter version.
Thanks once again
