If an employee retrenched,after 3 years service in one orgnation.While making full and final settlement is he eligible for gratuity and retrenchment compensation.

Dear Pavani,

If he is retrenched under the Industrial Disputes Act, 1947, then the concerned employee will get retrenchment compensation in accordance with Chapter V A or V B, whichever is applicable in this case, but he will not be entitled to any gratuity amount.
