Dear Friends,
I work for an MNC that has everything in place, and there is only one scope: to innovate new things and ideas for the betterment of people functions.
This site has HR professionals from various companies. Can you pass on to me some ideas that I can implement in terms of:
- Employee Relations
- Organisational Development
- Performance Management
- Compensation and Reward Systems
Please send me some creative ideas or your innovations that have been successful in your organizations or might become successful if I implement them.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Sanketh!
On 31st October, there was a conference in Ahmedabad on 'Innovations in People Management' where Dr. T V Rao and heads of HR departments from five organizations presented their innovative practices. The conference was organized by the Ahmedabad Management Association.
You can contact them and ask if CDs of the recordings are available. It will help you learn about innovative practices of various organizations (public sector and private sector both). I am sharing the email id, website, and phone number of AMA:

Dear Sanketh,
Whenever I conduct the training program, I ask engineers, "Do you implement all the knowledge that you gained during your engineering course?" I often receive the answer that only 40-50% of what they have learned is applicable here. I then inquire about how much of that 40-50% they apply in their day-to-day jobs, and the response is typically just 10-20%.
If this is the case, there is a significant opportunity to implement the remaining 20-30%. What holds you back? They often become mute and do not have any answer.
Encourage employees to apply their learning in the workplace. Nothing is more satisfying than witnessing the change we have initiated.
Make your company the leading forum where the implementation of learning is promoted.
Trust me, if each employee decides to utilize just 5% of their unutilized knowledge, it will make a vast difference in your company. This initiative will reduce attrition and foster a better work culture. Employees will focus less on hygiene factors.
Ok...
