Hi,

I am a Ph.D. in OD. You may want to explore emerging areas such as HRIS, HR audit, HR scorecard, or change management, or delve into new concepts in HR such as managing off-site employees, etc.

All the best,

Hi Suryakanth,

I am also a person planning to do a PhD in HR/management-related area. I have industry experience of five years and currently working as a lecturer for MCA. I am looking for a guide in this area as the guide will be the core for the entire PhD course. Can you please refer anyone (in Bangalore) who can be a guide in the management area?

Thanks in advance,

Hi,

There are various topics to conduct research or pursue a Ph.D., such as strategic management, performance appraisal, organizational development (OD), HRIS, and manpower planning. However, you have to do it regularly as per UGC rules.

I hope this information can give you some ideas.

Hi All,

If anyone is interested in pursuing a Ph.D. in HR, ICFAI is offering a good opportunity. If anyone is interested in this, please feel free to contact me. I am not an executive of ICFAI; I am a Senior HR Manager working in a reputed company.

You can go for a Ph.D. in HR from AIMa, IMSR, XLRI, IIM, ISB, Annamalai, and other state universities. It's a good option, but it is a 4-5 year course. You have to prepare a thesis, but before applying, you have to provide a research synopsis of 5 pages. You can also apply abroad for a Ph.D. as it is beneficial.
