Good try. However, as an HR professional, I am not convinced with it. A few things I would like to point out:
1. The presentation title.
2. The HR profession is mostly chosen by women. (This is a separate matter of debate.)
3. It could be more effective if it would have answered "how?"
But I must say, a useful piece of work.

How can we expect them to understand strategies and benchmarking techniques? Sometimes, even our Indian HR professionals may not know how to execute the recruitment process with terms like "disciplined" as you mentioned.
I specialize in strategies (from a UK university), benchmarking techniques, performance appraisal methods, recruitment procedures (in the US and UK), and training in various departments such as IT, non-IT, and BPO.

Good thoughts put together. Howver i dnt agree with the fact that is a Female Profession. I have seen lot of male managers doing extremely well in Hr profession. Rgds, Ritu

No where has Priyatosh mentioned that HR is a female profession. He has just given an example that females mostly take up HR as a profession because it has less number crunching involved in it.
Priyatosh, all points are relevant. I personally think that most HR professionals lack in Point 7 - "Human Resource has to get more HUMAN."

This point mentions that one should not compare performances (in an era of benchmarking). The remark about women was uncalled for and unjustified. Many men dislike numbers.
Discussions such as these are welcome as they draw attention to important matters that we, as HR professionals, need to focus on.
