That is a good story with a moral lesson. For the first moral, it is good to be at the top; however, like a crow, staying on top without any protection is not wise. Just as a crow has to face storms, rain, and wind, one must take protective actions when at the top. Similarly, like a donkey that stays on top, it was shot by a farmer.
