Hi,
I am not able to download materials from this site. When we download one topic and try to move on to another, a signboard appears indicating that we can only download after waiting for 2 minutes. However, the timer continues counting down, and even after 2 minutes have passed, the download does not open. Is this a problem experienced by all users or just me? I have attempted right-clicking and selecting "save as," but the attachments are all in HTML format and cannot be saved. If you manage to save and open them in Word on your computer, you will still encounter the message "Download will begin soon."
This issue is becoming problematic as Cite HR used to be a very user-friendly site, and now we are unable to download important materials at a high speed. Could you please advise on how to address this?
Thank you,
Alka

Hi Alka,
I had the same problem too. It looks like a programming bug; however, there is a way around it: if you actually wait for two minutes (or a little more to be on the safer side) before starting the second download, there is no problem! Check and let me know.

Thanks, folks. I am doing the same thing now - that is waiting for 2 minutes and then downloading. But still, the process is very slow. Since we have high-speed internet facilities nowadays, the site HR administrators should find a solution by which we can download materials faster. As we are all working people, we do not have much time to access the internet. So, in whatever time we get, if we can access more materials, it will be useful to us.
I even contacted site HR through the "contact us" option, but no response until now. Does anybody know their phone number?

Yes, we had to put this measure in place as many of the new members tend to go into a download frenzy when they arrive here - and we have a lot of them - over 1500 new members every day. What happens is the server gets bogged down and makes everything slow for everyone.
The one-file-in-two-minute measure ensures that no one is able to start 10 downloads simultaneously.

Hi all,
It's very true. Even after 2 minutes have passed, the download doesn't begin. Sometimes when I download material and find that it is not helpful, I need to download something else, which takes a lot of time. Previously, the system was not like this. I request the moderator/facilitator to look into the matter.

Yes, this is a new problem just cropped up since yesterday. Before that I could download multiple PPT /PPS (even 4) at a time. I am also wondering what it is. - Biswajit

You have posted the message in a wrong string. Still, here is my response.
Please do not request finished projects or questionnaires on this forum without giving enough information.
Instead of asking for a completed project, please search CiteHr where some projects are attached. Then do a literature survey and form your aim and objectives for the research (in consultation with the host organization). You also need a conceptual framework for that. Form your hypotheses to test.
If you have not done any of the above essential preparations for conducting a project, I would advise you to please do so and then pose a precise question.
Please see my post on Research Methodology (Ppt slides attached) at research projects. Prodcons also has information on Research Methodology.

Hello friends...
Situation will make us do things... ... We are all in search of capsules, right? I also made an attempt, a shortcut for easily getting the questionnaire but I failed. I found all types of questionnaires over here but except our topic. It was very urgent for me, and there were no options at all. At last, lazy Sayana also decided to prepare a questionnaire by herself, and I did. For that, I referred to the factory act of welfare measure, company profile, their welfare facilities, questionnaire formats available over here, etc. All the time of my experience shows that we become lazy because of the facilities available to us. Actually, all this is meant to make us more capable, but we are misusing these facilities. I am too on that list. At first, I got irritated when I read the reply by the moderator Mr. Nashbramhall, advising not to expect someone else to send a questionnaire. At that time, I thought, then for what purpose is this CiteHR for. Anyway, I know you people are also like me so am attaching my questionnaire with regard to welfare measures. I don't know how much I succeeded in preparing these questionnaires, but I hope it will also be helpful to you dudes.
