Hello sir,
As you have mentioned in your previous posts that we should first think about how to analyze the data, and then only design the questionnaire. So, I want to design the questionnaire carefully, starting from the variables identified for the survey. I don't want to repeat the mistakes and want to design the questionnaire carefully, keeping in mind that I have to apply regression analysis and factor analysis, etc. I need your expertise for the same.
Respected sir, my mentor has given me some 20 points based on which I have to design the questions for the services provided by the HR department to employees who are their internal customers. I am getting confused about how to frame the questions so that SPSS can be applied.
With warm regards,
Nikita

Nikita,
I suggest that you search the web and read available material if you do not have access to research methodology books. For example:
- http://statisticshell.com <link updated to site home>
- Questionnaire design: how to plan... - Google Book Search
- nipissingu.ca -
All found at survey questionnaire design + factor analysis - Google Search
You could also try to find out how important each of the 20 elements are, in addition to their presence or absence, or agreement and disagreement with the statements. You could also check if there is any gap between expectations and perceptions. Are you familiar with the SERVQUAL concept and tools?

Hello Simhan sir,
Please help me since you are an expert in research methodology. I don't have any problem now in the design of the questionnaire.
Sir, I need your help in identifying the independent variables from the points I mentioned to you for the dependent variable - employee satisfaction. Please do me a favor and list the independent variables from the points I mentioned so that I can apply regression, correlation analysis, factor analysis, and cross-tab for an effective analysis. Simply making percentage analysis through pie and bar graphs does not serve the purpose now when tools like SPSS are available.
Kindly provide me with the same. Thanks in advance. I am looking forward to a definitive answer from you that should solve my problem, as you have expertise in this area.

Dear Nikita,
Do you have any hypotheses to prove or disprove? These will help you determine the variables. For example, please refer to the article on male and female job satisfaction at A Model of Employee Satisfaction: Gender Differences in Cooperative Extension.
You may also find the Employee Retention Survey | Employee Satisfaction at infosurv.com helpful.
The Effect of Employee Uniforms on Employee Satisfaction from Restaurants at AllBusiness.com may provide valuable insights. (Link updated to site home) (Search On Cite | Search On Google)
All this information can be found through a Google search for Employee satisfaction survey + dependent and independent variables.
Have a nice weekend.
