Thank you for the question. Usually, an embedded engineer will be drawing 3.5 to 5.5 L/A, considering the factor that the candidate is from Chennai and has 3+ years of experience. However, we can find the candidate drawing in the range of 2.20 to 3.5 L/A, who has solid 3+ years of experience. Exp Level Min Ave Max Designation Level
Entry Level 200000 225000 250000 Fresher - Software Associate
1-2 Exp 300000 335000 400000 Software Associate - Consultant
2-3 Exp 400000 520000 600000 Consultant Level 1-3
It's important to note that the increment or compensation category varies from company to company. Generally, a mainframe professional can expect a minimum of a 20% increment on their CTC.

An embedded systems engineer with 3 years of relevant experience could take home anything between 4-6 Lacs and a maximum of 7 Lacs if he has worked on some niche technology. The hike per year is again dependent on a few factors; however, the general trend in Bangalore (guess even elsewhere) has been in the range of 20% - 45%.
