Hi Jaya,

MIS report is known as Management Information System regarding the Manpower status of a particular month, place, and overall. It helps the Management in decision-making, like what are the reasons for resignation, in which area attrition is high, and many other factors to aid in decision-making. With the help of MIS, you can prepare various reports such as annual attrition, region-wise attrition, region-wise manpower, graphical representation of region's manpower status, and more.

You can prepare the same at your end. It will help you in preparing other formats as well.

First Sheet-

Details of employee

a. E. Code
b. Name of employee
c. Date of birth
d. Designation
e. CTC
f. Address for communication
g. Permanent address
h. Contact number
i. Blood group
j. Maximum qualification
k. Extra qualification
l. Total Experience

Second Sheet-

Salary structure

In this sheet, write down the complete salary structure and include a column for the salary after any revision.

Third Sheet -

New Joinees

In this sheet, write down the names of New joiners of that month with details like CTC, Designation, DOB, etc.

Fourth Sheet -

Resigned employees

In this sheet, write the names of employees who resigned during that particular month with details like name, designation, date of joining, date of resignation, last working day.

Fifth sheet -

Attrition rate

Based on this MIS report, you can find out the attrition rate, Qualification analysis reports, team management reports, and prepare various other reports.

Hi friends,

You need to enable the macros in Excel; then only the buttons will work. To enable the macros, follow these steps for Windows 2007:

- Go to "Excel Options" (this will be in the same tab where the print option is).
- Then "Trust Center".
- Then "Trust Center Settings".
- In that, go to "Macros Setting".
- In "Macros Setting", you need to enable the option called "Enable All Macros".

I hope this will help you.

Hi Rajasekhar,

Very good format. I really appreciate the effort. However, I would like to incorporate some additional features and edit wherever I can to add some of my own observations that would be required in the MIS. I would need the password to unprotect the sheet for the same. Please let me know.

Thanks in advance, Anamika C.

Hi team,

There are lots of formats for MIS reports, which depend upon the type of information, the people with whom it will be shared, and the frequency, etc. These formats vary for projects, departments, internal/external circulation, etc.

VLOOKUP:
=VLOOKUP(lookup_value,table_array,col_index_num,ra nge_lookup)

Explanation:
=VLOOKUP(the value or array you want to look up, the array where you want to find the corresponding value, column number (starting from the source column), optional)

Hope this helps.

Bharat

Dear Amit,

The report you have attached is really good and easily understandable. However, there are a few issues that need your attention:

1. Three macros are not working in the Statutory Sheet (which you have attached).
2. The Accident Sheet is blank with no information provided.

Could you please clarify the issues mentioned above?

Also, could you explain the significance of the attrition rate?

Hi Everyone...!!

I am new to this forum and came to know about this from one of my friend. Few months back I was working with one of the biggest MNC at Delhi NCR location but due to some personal reasons, I left the company after spending more 5.5 yrs. From the last 5 months I am trying to get a a suitable jobs but all vent in vain and now I think I'll not able to celebrate this Diwali with great enthusiasm..Let see which way wind blows............

A brief introduction about me....I am B.com(H) graduate aged 35 yrs and having an experience close to 08 yrs. My last drawn CTC was INR 5,10,000/-. and key skills are as under :-

•Liaison with third party vendors

•Customer Relationship Management (CRM)

•Virtual Transitioning of work from Onshore US/UK locations

•Compliance – In terms of Data Security

•Quality Checks of Processing – Internal Audit

•Commitment to Quality – Adopted Lean best practice, Continuous process Improvements

•Systems knowledge – MS Office, Citrix, Lotus Notes, COGNOZ, IBM Mainframe, Siebel, Maestro

Can anyone please help in getting a suitable job in Delhi NCR ?

Recently I had been interviewed by some companies at Delhi NCR but not succeeded..Now, I had given interview in one of the Outsourcing companies based at Delhi NCR for Mid-level profile. Now, they are asking to submit ORIGINAL educational documents for at least 3-6 months and also need to sign a bond.

I know that this kind of practice is very much prevalent in UAE but not sure about in country like India..As far as my knowledge is concerned, companies Act of India does not allow such kind of unethical practice...Can any one throw some light on this ?

Thanks
