One of our ex-employees published confidential data on the net. We will take legal action against him but want to stop that type of activity in the future. Kindly help me. Should we add some lines in the joining agreement? Please send me some policies or rules.

Hi,

I do agree that in the appointment letter, if you can add the point of privacy, that will bind the same. You can also incorporate the same point in your code of business ethics and have all employees sign the document every six months.

Diya,

We can also insist that employees sign an NDA. Please see the attached NDA, which can be modified based on the nature of the business and then signed by the employees. You may use it if you find it helpful.
