I feel it's too early for you to pursue a SAP Course in HR since it requires a minimum of 1 to 2 years of domain experience. So, I believe you can always think of going for distance education (correspondence). There are lots of universities providing that, with the frontrunner being Symbiosis.

It is more advisable to go for a distance learning course. In Mumbai, K.J. Somaiya and Jamnalal Bajaj both offer distance learning programs. You can just go through their sites and find out.

I am a civil engineer and a diploma holder in Business Management. I am currently pursuing an MBA through ICFAI Hyderabad (correspondence). I have 1.3 years of experience as an engineer and 6 months of training experience as an HR recruiter. Additionally, I have some knowledge of core marketing from my brief experience in that field. To transition into a HR professional role, I have familiarized myself with the functions of various important departments within an organization. While I aspire to work in an HR generalist profile, I am currently working in a recruitment firm, although I do not wish to be solely a recruiter.

If you really want to continue your career in HR field and make a good career in HR, my sincere advice is to do an MBA in HR. Many companies prefer MBA candidates in HR, and an MBA with HR experience will give you more openings in HR, whether it's through a regular program or distance learning.

If the answer is yes and you are unable to pursue a diploma or a professional qualification in HR, then look at the kind of work you are doing. Can you become an extremely competent person in that profile? Is there a mentor who can help you to grow in the organization?
Find out what topics are taught in HR classes. Pick up as much knowledge as you can, like someone with a professional HR degree or is pursuing one. The Internet has enough info to make you a great HR executive.
