Dear All,
What is the average rate of attrition of HR professionals in industries? As an HR professional, it is the responsibility of a HR person to control attrition. However, HR professionals often move to industries. Why is that? Your comments are appreciated.
Thanks,

I agree with the fact that an HR person should control attrition. However, even an HR professional is also an employee. It doesn't mean that he should stick to a company even if he is not satisfied with his job. Every individual will look for job satisfaction. We as HR professionals always try to provide that to the employees, but then who will care for our job satisfaction? Nobody. So, we also sometimes try to change our jobs, and that is reasonable, I believe. It's just my opinion. I'm sorry if I'm wrong.

Before, I had pointed out the attrition of HR, and the members had a heated debate on this. No one accepted this and told it's NORMAL. Whereas when other employees leave, they term it attrition, just a trick to survive and save your head. When you do it, it's a need and necessity, and when others do it, it's job jumping and attrition.

Dear Mr. Ravi,
I don't know what the comments were for your previous one. Please let me know. If the HR people feel the satisfaction level of their own, then it is the responsibility of the HR to take care of the satisfaction level of other employees.

Hi friends,
As some of the members have truly said, even an HR professional is also an employee and has all the rights to change his or her job when not satisfied with the current position. However, if an HR professional starts changing jobs solely for the purpose of seeking better pay, that is definitely a wrong practice. After all, we as HR professionals possess the analytical skills to evaluate a company before joining, reducing the chances of ending up in a problematic situation.
These are two different scenarios with different impacts that reflect the characteristics of an HR professional.
Guys, share more thoughts on this!

Dear All,
What is the average rate of attrition of HR professionals in industries? As an HR person, it is the responsibility of an HR professional to control attrition. However, HR professionals tend to move more to industries. Why is this the case? Your comments are appreciated.

All individuals are human beings; it is very unfair to treat HR personnel differently. They are like other employees. They have future plans, personal lives, and have to face the same challenges in life and at the office that you do. There is nothing special about it.
It would be beneficial to have some data regarding the higher rate of job rotation among HR professionals so that we can have a more informed discussion. Otherwise, this topic holds no value for discussion.
Thank you for bringing up this topic.

Dear Thiru,
As per my knowledge, HR is meant for handling human resources, which means dealing with people who have brains. It's easier to manage any resource other than human resources. Therefore, there may be attrition in HR as well due to various reasons. However, I'm sorry that I don't know the exact attrition rate.
Thank you.
