Hi Friends,

I am in preparation of my induction program, and I have a query about preparing the induction PowerPoint presentation. Friends, please let me know the sequence of the induction program and what topics I should cover in the program.

Waiting for a reply. Help me, please.

Dear Ms. Usha,

Is this induction for your department or for the entire organization? If it is for the Entire Organization, the sequence could be as follows:

1. Company - Mission and vision.
2. History.
3. Organogram.
4. Departments.
5. HR policies.
6. Then, every department talks about their departmental mission and vision, the role they play, and the compliance they adhere to.

This is a sequence I could think of now. You may get others giving you ideas.

Amrit

Hi Pankaj,

Thank you for the document. I have prepared the PowerPoint presentation for the induction, and I would like clarification on the sequence. After the company introduction, what should I present first? Should I talk about the code of conduct first and then the HR policy, or should I present the HR policy first and then the code of conduct? Also, could you suggest another term for "code of conduct"?

Please clear my doubts. I am waiting for your reply.

Usha

Hi Usha,

Please include the Code of Conduct as a part of the HR Policy. I am attaching another PDF file on the Induction checklist, which might be helpful to you further.

Could you elaborate on "And am looking for another word for Code of Conduct"?

Hi All,

I am working in a company that is 1.5 years old. I am single-handedly handling all the activities of HR. Currently, I am working on the HR manual. However, I need some help from all of you. I would like to know how a compensation policy can be formed. If possible, could anyone send me the document of the compensation policy to which I can refer? I would be highly obliged for the help.

Hi Usha!

In your induction kit, the first page should be a welcome letter from the number one person in your organization, such as the Chairman or Managing Director. We have included this welcome letter in our induction kit, written by our Managing Director, and it has made a difference in the mindset of the inductee.

Hi Priya,

This is with regard to your request to provide you with another PowerPoint presentation on Induction. I am afraid I do not have any other PPT on hand as of today. If I come across any, I will surely post it in this forum.

In the meantime, I am providing you with a link that provides detailed guidelines on how to develop a workplace induction program. Although it is in the Australian context, you may find many points useful.

Please let me know if you need any further assistance.

Dear Usha,

The induction presentation should be comprehensive yet concise about your organization. It should cover:

2) About the Founder
3) The Journey of the Organization till now briefly
4) Top Management Team
5) Vision, Mission, Values
6) Organizational Chart
7) Business Areas
8) Locations
9) Organization Chart
10) Achievements & Awards (won by the organization)
11) Employee Benefit Policy (e.g., PF, ESI, Mediclaim, Leaves...)
12) Information about HR

I hope the above information will be helpful to you.

Hi all,

In my organization, we have around 40 cash-receiving offices that also deal with customers. I want to introduce a competition among all the employees in those offices to improve consumer service. Can anybody suggest how?
