Hi Mujeeba,
There are many institutes offering MBA (HR) in Dubai. You can visit Dubai Knowledge Village or Academic City to learn about various colleges. MAHE (Dubai campus) offers an MBA in HR. Check out this link [link outdated-removed] (Search On Cite | Search On Google). MG University also offers an MBA in HR. Check this link Mahatma Gandhi University Off-Campus Centre.
On the other hand, you can pursue a Masters in Strategic HR Management from the UNIVERSITY OF WOLLONGONG.
There you go... All the best and a good move to keep learning...

Hi,
I would gladly be a part of the Dubai forum. I run a training and recruitment consultancy in Gujarat and plan to expand in Dubai. Probably, this will be a stepping stone. Thanks all and cite HR.

Dear All,
Good Afternoon. How is everyone out here? You must have emptied your lunch boxes and are trying to hold your eyelids from falling. Well, this is the case for most of us working in Dubai.
Now that we are all here in this forum, ready to gear up and share our knowledge and experiences, why don't we dive into some discussion topics? Let me start with a subject.
I am new to the field of HRM. I often come across my own thoughts and ponder on issues that I want to share with all of you. I am sure with all your rich experience, I may be able to get some answers to the questions that always bother me.
Some Questions: Human Resource Management
My understanding:
All companies abide by the Policies & Procedures set by the companies (Corporate Objectives). HRM Policies are in line with the Norms, Terms & Conditions of the Nation's (Law of the Land) Labor Policies (MOL).
Nations (Governments – MOL's) follow guidelines set by some Centralized Agency monitored by an International Neutral Agency. Correct?
Now coming to the point. Talking about Dubai, we, the working population in Dubai, especially the expatriate population, are a mix of different nationalities, cultures, and traditions. However, all of us (those working in the HR field) come under ONE Brand category as HR Managers/Assistants, etc.
What do we follow in terms of Policies? ...Company Policies correct?
What do we abide by? Law of the Land (Regulations set by Dubai MOL)
Now, when we talk about HRM, are we equipped to understand the employees who are a diverse group with different varieties?
Any comments?
