Can we claim a performance incentive if our employer refuses? Do we have any legal rights against our employer?

In general, if an employer refuses to provide a promised performance incentive, employees may have legal rights to pursue the incentive through avenues such as labor laws, employment contracts, or company policies. It is essential to review the specific terms of your employment agreement and any applicable laws to determine the best course of action in such a situation. If you believe your rights have been violated, seeking legal advice or assistance from a human resources professional may be beneficial in addressing the issue.

Dear Gnishu, currently, there is no concept of performance incentives in the Indian Labour Laws that are in force. As such, you cannot claim something that does not exist.
