The National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) and the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) are both initiatives of the Government of India aimed at promoting apprenticeship.

1. 🎈 Skills Development: NAPS and NATS help companies by providing them with a skilled workforce. The apprentices are trained in specific skills which the company needs, thereby reducing the time and cost of training new employees.
2. 🆖 Financial Support: The government provides financial support to the companies by reimbursing a part of the stipend paid to the apprentices. Under NAPS, the government shares 25% of the prescribed stipend subject to a maximum of Rs. 1500 per month per apprentice.
