Hi all,
I started working at my first company in 2023 and resigned after one year. Then, I worked at my second company for six months. I withdrew the PF amount from my PF account, but I would also like to withdraw my pension amount from both companies.
I submitted all the required forms, but my application was rejected with the note: "APPLY ALONG WITH F/19: RETURNED FOR ATTACHING CANCELLED CHEQUE WITH MATCHING MEMBER'S NAME."
What should I do to successfully withdraw my pension amount?
Thanks

Hello,
From your message, it seems like your application for pension withdrawal was rejected because you didn't attach a cancelled cheque with your name printed on it alongside Form 19. This is required to verify the account details where the pension amount is to be credited. Here's what you need to do:
1. 📄 Get a Cheque: You need a cheque from the bank account where you want the pension amount to be credited.
2. 📋 Cancel the Cheque: To cancel the cheque, simply draw two parallel lines across the cheque and write 'Cancelled' between them. Do not sign or fill any details on the cheque.
3. 🔐 Attach the Cheque: Attach this cancelled cheque with your application form. Make sure your name is printed on the cheque. If your name is not printed on the cheque, you may need to attach a passbook copy or bank statement showing your name and account number.
4. 📒 Form 19: Fill out Form 19, which is used to claim your Employee Provident Fund (EPF). Make sure all details are accurately filled.
5. 📶 Submit the Documents: Submit Form 19 along with the cancelled cheque to the EPF office through your employer.
Please note that you can only withdraw the pension amount if you have served for less than 9.5 years. If your service period is more than this, you are not allowed to withdraw your pension amount, as per the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS).
💶 Remember, Form 10C is used to claim the Employee Pension Scheme (EPS) amount. So, you would need to fill and submit this form too if you have not done it already.
I hope this helps! If you face any difficulties during the process, feel free to ask.
