Good Noon All, If Microaggression problems come under which category SC/ST Prevention Act or POSH act or both
From India, Chennai
Dear Nirmal Kumar,

Your query is cryptic. Please explain to us what was the incident. Who showed the microaggression and it shown against whom? Was it just a single incident or a series of incidents? Were there witnesses to the incident(s)? Did the aggressor use a casteist slur against the alleged victim? Has the alleged victim filed an official complaint? Are you involved in the incident or a witness or an HR professional?

There are many questions associated with your post. Please provide the complete details.

Thanks,

Dinesh Divekar

Merriam Webster Dictionary defines: Micro aggression: A comment or action that subtly and often unconsciously or unintentionally expresses a prejudiced attitude toward a member of a marginalized group (such as a racial minority)
Various sites/blogs defines this - What is the meaning of microaggression?
a small act or remark that makes someone feel insulted or treated badly because of their race, sex, etc., even though the insult, etc. may not have been intended, and that can combine with other similar acts or remarks over time to cause emotional harm.
The attributes and actions-prevention, remedy would depend on the persons involved in any such incident. In the absence of these information it cannot be categorised.
