There are many factors to be considered while hiring and paying compensation. If you have already started paying, you have probably taken care of such aspects. If not, please consider critical compliances like Shops Registration, Professional Tax compliance, Labour Welfare Fund, EPF, etc.

You need the following:

- Shop & establishment license
- PF Registration
- ESIC registration
- GST Registration
- Notification under Gratuity Act for starting the office
- Profession Tax Registration
- Labour Welfare Fund Registration

There may be other requirements under the local state laws or specifically for your industry.
