Dear All,

One of our employees is completing his 58 years and retiring from the services, but due to our work urgency, we want to continue him in our company. Can anybody please guide how to proceed further with his PF and Pension? Do we have to apply for his pension or what to do?

Dear Hanumantha Rao Bv,

Yes, he can apply for the pension. Also, clarify whether he has been reappointed into the services or if there has been no break in service. If there has been no break in service, then you have to deposit his PF with no pension contribution.

Dear Sir,

One of my employees was working at another company for up to 10 years. He has a scheme certificate, and now he is 50 years old. There was a 3-year gap during which he did not have a UAN number. Before 2015, the old company provided a Pension Certificate to him. Now, he has joined our company, and we need to link a new UAN number.

My question is, can we submit the old company's scheme certificate to the PF office? Are any documents attachments required? Kindly provide instructions to me.
