I am working for a manufacturing company. They have given me the CTC breakup, in which the Gratuity amount is included as a deduction on a monthly basis. Now, I have completed 4 years of service and I want to move from this company. Shall I get the gratuity deducted from my CTC back or not?

If I continue until 5 years, will I get gratuity as well as the amount deducted from my CTC?

Thanks in advance.

Deduction from an employee on account of gratuity is illegal. If such deductions are being made, then put forward a representation to the company. Ask them to refund the amount. If you work for 5 continuous years, it is the company's duty to pay gratuity and not indirectly take money from the employee.
