Dear all Kindly suggest can we hold salary if any one left before one month completed, if he/she signed same terms & conditions in appointment letter

Hi,

If the employee absconded from duty without any information, then his/her salary can be kept on hold and adjusted against the shortfall in notice. Your appointment should have a clause towards this. However, if the employee submits a resignation properly and serves the notice period, then his salary needs to be paid.
