I want advice from your end. I am very thankful to everyone for supporting me and advising me.

I have received a complaint from one employee that he doesn't want to work with his colleague because of his behavior, and he may resign as he has to work with him every day.

Hi,

I presume a particular employee doesn't want to be part of one specific team as he has a difference of opinion with his colleague. First, try to find out the issue and attempt to resolve it. As a last resort, shift him to another team. In general, if you accommodate such team change requests for one employee, it may lead to potential issues if the number of requests increases in the future. Please exercise caution.

Let me explain, one employee is a Business Analyst (BA), and the other is a Business Development Manager (BDM), so they have to work together on related projects. However, the BA is not happy with the BDM's behavior. Both individuals excel in their work.

I need to conduct a meeting with both of them, but I also need to be cautious that they understand the situation and do not take it personally. Please guide me on how I can address the BDM regarding his behavior.

Hi,

You have not briefed about the 'misbehaviour' of the BDM. What did he do? However, in general, you can counsel him that any difference of opinion between the BDM and BA will affect the growth of the company, which will, in turn, affect their career with the company. You may educate them to work together and achieve in the best interest of the company. Also, advise the BDM to appreciate the efforts of his subordinate. I hope now you are clear.
