If it's a company involved in manufacturing products and employs a larger number of people, you will need to have the following:
1. Certificate of Registration of the company under the Companies Act
2. PAN card in the name of the company under the IT Act
3. TAN
4. TIN & GST Registration
5. Registration under the Factories Act
6. EPF & ESIC Registration
7. Professional Tax Registration
8. Compliance with periodic Returns & Maintenance of registers, records, display as prescribed under all applicable acts.
If the processes and products being manufactured fall under a special category, additional acts/rules (such as those related to hazardous materials/processes) will also apply.
