Yes, you can try, but believe me, no one will hire you. I don't understand why you are doing this as you will be entitled to maternity leave within approximately 2 months. Stay in your current job and take advantage of the six months of paid leave.

How could this happen? What's the headcount in your company? Please go and talk to your HR. If the headcount is above 10, then the MB Act is applicable to your establishment. If you have worked for 80 days, you are eligible.
