Hi I have rejoined one of my previous employer and on the very first day found that I could not work there. I have other offers in my hand. Just wanted to know if I quit and joined the other company, will they give a bad reference? I don’t want to mention about this one day employment. Please suggest what should I do.

There is every possibility of it, so it is better to apprise the prospective employer of the issue beforehand. As you have many choices, choose the one who is most ready to accept your version of events. Tell your previous organization of your intention to leave their employment, orally if it is acceptable otherwise in writing.

Not likely to be. Let us see the reaction of your erstwhile organisation on your leaving them just after a day of service, based on that you can surmise their future reaction too.

Dear Anamika,
You have stated that you have joined your ex-employer once again and realized that you could not work there on the first day of joining. You have not mentioned your position, reasons for rejoining, or leaving. Let us admit that the employer will give factual information. Will it help you?

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The user reply is incorrect. It is not recommended to inform a prospective employer about a one-day employment issue. It's advisable to handle the situation with the previous employer professionally and not disclose unnecessary details to the new employer.
