I'm working at a Garment Export unit located in Tirupur. Nowadays, all international buyers are keen on the implementation of the ETI Base code in factories. I would like to know the complete standards of the ETI Base code. Can anyone shed light on the complete scope of the ETI Base code, please?

ETI stands for Ethical Trading Initiative. It's an alliance of companies, trade unions, NGOs, etc. Companies that are part of ETI follow a certain standard (Base Code) in their operations such as product quality, supply chain, pricing strategies, etc., and also labor practices.

Please find attached the ETI Base Code. The SEDEX audit is conducted on the ETI Base Code. It should be communicated to your suppliers and contractors as well, and training must be provided to your workers and management.
We can also conduct a SMETA audit at your factory in Tirupur and upload the same to SEDEX.
