For the employer, it is not possible, but employees can do it through their member portal login if they have forgotten the login password. In that case, they need to use this site by clicking on the member and selecting "forgot password" if their mobile number has changed.

1. Every Employee can get their UAN and Member ID from the list provided
2. Member has to type the text and numbers as mentioned below and send to 7738299899
EPFHO<>ACT<>UAN<>MEMBER ID
Send to 7738299899
Where <>= SPACE
UAN= Universal Account Number allotted by EPF (12 digits numeric)
Member ID = As it appear on you’re a/c slip or allotted by employer (22 digits alphanumeric) where 1st 5 digits are State and city code, next 7 digits are establishment ID, next 3 digits are branch id, and remaining 7 digits are member ID

Member ID of XYZ is WBCAL00012340000000011 and UAN allotted is 123456789012
So he/she will type in his/her personalized mobile as EPFHO ACT 123456789012 WBCAL00012340000000011
And send it to 7738299899
