My new employee provided documents for PF enrollment, and we issued a PF number accordingly. However, when attempting to link to the previous employer's UAN number, we encountered an issue due to a mismatch in the date of birth. The employee has confirmed that her previous date of birth is correct, and we need to make the necessary correction. Please advise. We have only deposited two months' worth of PF contributions.

To process this request efficiently, follow these steps:

Get a Form 11 copy printed from his/her previous UAN login.
Verify the details provided by him under the form submitted at the time of joining.
Obtain a copy of the PAN card and Aadhar card where the date of birth is mentioned.
Subsequently, either mail the output or inform via email.
It is quite common for employees to attribute all errors to the employer.
