Dear Apurva,

Yours is a functional problem at the worksite, which we face every day. No civil or labor court will come to your rescue or provide you with relief. Where is the wrongful termination for which you intend to go to court?

My advice to you is to "adjust to the situation" and not become a litigant, as it will not lead you anywhere.

Dear Mr. Kalsi ji,

Thank you first for replying. You are not even aware of the full details of this case and yet you ask me to adjust. Adjust and adjust. Don't ask for justice. Put your head down and live. That is why there is no progress in Indian labor law... everybody just adjusts. Big companies get away with playing with their employees. I don't adjust. I don't.

Dear Apurva,

I am sorry if you feel that I have hurt your sentiments by advising you to adjust with the situation. How do you expect me to know the full details of the case if you haven't mentioned them? Please provide the full details of the case so that senior members may advise you accordingly.

Thanks,

Dear Mr. Kalsi ji,

Please don't say sorry. You are a senior and highly respected. My mistake as well. I'm sorry too. If I email you, is it fine? It's such a big company, and I don't want to spoil its name on a public forum.

With respect,
Apurva
