EPF has no such news though ESIC has to raise ceiling, but notification is expected by 1st of october 2016

True. Even that is in discussion more, and that too not with all the locations. It is applicable for the locations where ESI has been implemented recently, and not for other locations.

EPF is not going to raise the Maximum Slab of Rs. 15,000/- as of now. ESI contribution is reduced in very few newly implemented regions, that too only for few months.

Salary ceiling limit enhancement under both ESI and PF is only a news and so far no Gazette notification.

Hi All,
ESIC ceiling has only been increased from Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 21,000/- w.e.f. 01.01.2017 (with Gazette Notice 27/12/2016 No: X-14/11/1/2015-P&D). However, EPF ceiling increase is still under discussion and may be raised from Rs. 15,000/- to Rs. 25,000/- soon.
