Dear Friends,
I have been working in a Pvt. Ltd. Company for the last 5.3 years. Last year, I took Maternity Leave for 3 months (April '15 to June '15). However, my management did not provide Maternity benefits even though they approved it. I sent an email to the concerned department but did not receive any reply. I have been waiting for a response for the past year. Please suggest what I should do.

Please put a final application asking for Maternity benefits. If they deny or keep quiet,then approach labour officer of the area with your problem of denial of Maternity Benefits.

You are currently working for that company. You apparently have a stable job. You can always take up the matter with the help of the labor commissioner. However, please understand how it will affect your employment. You will get maternity leave wages, but will you still have a job after that?
