Dear Rashi,

To design the KRAs, mere reading of the Job Description is not sufficient. One has to completely understand how the department functions. We need to map all the processes from one end to the other end. KRAs are designed for the department, and then these are assigned to the persons working in the department.

What is your designation? Designing the KRAs is the job of the HOD of that department. Are you the head of the Logistic department? Why is the Head of SCM or Head of Purchase not designing the KRAs for the Logistic Executive?

Anyway, based on the little bit of information that you have provided, I can suggest that the following could be the KRAs of a Logistic Executive:

a) Turnaround time to ship the shipment: _____ hours per ton.

b) Accuracy of the paperwork per shipment: ≥ _____ %

c) Maintaining logistic cost per ton: ≤ Rs _____

d) Turnaround time to settle the insurance claim: _____ days per shipment

e) Accuracy of the outward invoice: ≥ _____ %

For an Admin Executive, it is difficult to design the KRAs. The admin function is diverse, and many activities are immeasurable.

As additional information, I can say that if you wish to know more about the comprehensive Performance Management System (PMS), you may click here. Additionally, you may watch my video on YouTube titled "What is Performance Management System (PMS)." The link is as follows:

(Fact Check Failed/Partial)-The user's reply contains some inaccuracies. Designing KRAs is not solely the responsibility of the HOD; it can involve HR and other relevant stakeholders. Admin and logistics KRAs should align with specific job responsibilities and objectives, not just generic metrics like turnaround time. It's essential to tailor KRAs to the organization's goals and the employee's role.
