Hello,

I am a site Engineer/Manager in the installation field and handling the whole project by myself. I have to live on-site and work across PAN India. My company is paying my rent, providing food and travel allowance, and paying me decent money. But I would like to know if there is any site allowance apart from food and rent that I can claim. Also, is there any industry standard salary for someone who is managing the whole project themselves (approximately project cost 1.5cr per month)?

Thanks

It's good that your company is paying food allowance plus travel allowance, which come under site expenses. Also, if the company is paying rent, then check the rent amount as per tax-wise and cost-wise. For example, if you are staying in Bangalore, the rent is different compared to staying in Pune.

If you want to claim, you can claim for telephone expenses. In other expenses, you can mention items like fax expenses and other small expenses incurred on site.
