I came across a case where one of my friends altered the offer letter and payslips. He submitted that to a new organization, and they accepted it too. The best part is his new package was based on those altered Salary Slip and Offer Letter. Is that possible? How can such a loophole exist? Won't the new employer verify the Payslip and Offer Letter?

Before replying to your query, I would like to know your role in this. Secondly, it is the purview of the employer to check the Background Verification or not. Last but not least, employees are selected based on their skills and paid accordingly.

Dear Friend,

Submitting fake salary/experience certificates to secure a job is unethical. Employers are expected to verify the authenticity of the certificates provided by each candidate during the interview process. If an employer fails to do so, it is not fair to blame your friend for submitting fake documents. Typically, during interviews, employers focus on assessing a candidate's qualifications for the position. Once they are satisfied with the candidate's capabilities, some may not feel the need to verify other aspects such as certificates.
