Hi,
There isn't any course for distance LLB, and even if you get such a course from some institute, then the same is not valued. If you wish to pursue MLW, you can do the same from Mumbai or Madras University. You can try for a PG in Mercantile Law or Business Laws from NLS or ICFAI via correspondence or part-time. You may also go for a short-term law course of six months in any law institute in Mumbai, Bangalore, or Pune.
Thank you,
Octavious

Hi Octavius,
Thank you for the information. I would like to make it clear to you what I am actually looking forward to. I want to either do a Law course or a Psychology course. Which one would you suggest for me? Also, could you clarify whether MLW is a correspondence course or regular?
I would prefer to do either of these courses through correspondence only, so please suggest universities that offer these courses and advise on which one would be better.
Looking forward to your reply.

Hi,
MLW is a full-time course. The other course you mentioned can be done via correspondence. If you ask me, I would not be able to suggest which course to do, as I don't know what you aim to do. If you plan to enter into industrial HR, then MLW is best. But if you plan to go for OD and OB, then go for psychology as that's more important in OB and OD. However, if you plan to work in a factory setup or production side, then go for MLW. Kamraj and Annamalai are the ones who will give you a correspondence degree in psychology.
Thank you,
Octavious

Hi Octavious,
I have been reading your emails and the guidelines you have been providing. Please help me draft a campus recruitment e-learning module for internal education for the HR team. I need guidance on the process, how we should execute it, and the necessary requisites. Can you assist with this?
I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you.

Hi,
I would consider myself happy if I could be of any help to you. Give me some time, and I will get back to you with relevant data. I need some proper research to be done before I say anything to you. I think I have some data; let me collect more, and I will send it to you as a personal email.
Thank you,

Hi,
I am an MBA in HR from IGNOU and an LL.B from Rajasthan University. For your information, LL.B is a professional course and cannot be pursued through distance learning mode anywhere in India. You can do a Bachelor of General Law/Academic Law (BGL/BAL) from Madurai Kamaraj University or Annamalai University, but with that, you cannot practice in the court of law. Those interested in pursuing LL.B from any university will have to do it through regular or evening classes. Look for an evening law college in your city. Moreover, you can pursue a PG Diploma in Labour Law & Industrial Relations from Kota Open University and H.P. University.

Friends, if you join the regular college for LLB and then submit a letter to the principal stating that you are working, most colleges allow this. Therefore, you can complete your course without daily attendance. However, it is important to attend practicals and prelims on time.

Hi guys,
If you are looking for distance learning, there are not many that I know of. If you are interested in law-related subjects, why don't you consider the LLB from the University of London (external)? I think you should be able to sit for the exams in your country and still pursue it on a part-time basis. One of my sites also provides free materials on LLB - please feel free to use them. Alternatively, see if the university can offer you something more specific to your needs.
Cheers

There are various universities and colleges offering Diploma/Master's Degree in Labour Law or Business Law. For a two-year distance learning MLL programme, the options include:
1. Symbiosis - MLL (part-time, 2 years)
2. XLRI - (part-time, 2 years through Reliance centres)
3. IGNOU
4. KOTA OPEN UNIV
5. National Law School, PUNE - Mas. in Business Law
For one-year distance learning Diploma courses:
1. Symb - Dip in Labour Law
2. AIIMAS - Dip in Labour Law
There may be a few more, but I found these relevant. However, since all these are distance learning courses, can anyone here in the forum tell me if there are any regular programs in law being offered by colleges where attendance is not a must.

Hi Poornima,
You can study in Bangalore/Andhra Pradesh; there are some regular colleges (Bar Council approved courses). However, it is not offered in distance mode. Attendance is not necessary, and you can attend exams to obtain your degree. After that, you can begin your practice.
For more details, please email me at hrsiva@hotmail.com.

Hi,
I have completed B.Com., a PG Diploma in IR and PM, and have just finished my MBA in HR. I am interested in pursuing a one-year PG Diploma course. Currently, I work as an Administration and Operations Manager in a Textile Manufacturing and Export Organization. In total, I have around 25 years of experience in various positions such as Executive Secretary, Administration Executive, Administration Officer, and Administration Manager. Although I am not particularly keen on labor laws, if studying them can lead to good career growth, I am open to it. Can anybody suggest a few options to help me make a decision? I am looking for options in distance learning only.
Thank you.
