The enclosed circular from the Labor Department will help you to solve your query. I have found this circular on Citehr. The circular states that the declared minimum wage rates will be applicable after the suggestion of industries and establishments. It will be in effect from 2 months after the declaration. The declaration date is 25-02-2014, so it will be effective from 25-04-2014.

I have already received this circular; it is only a draft notification. I am working in the diamond industry. There is no specification for the diamond industry in the provided schedule. We are following Section 2(k) of the Factories Act for the implementation of Minimum Wages. In the previous notification, our trades were clearly specified as taliawala, mathalawala, pahelwala, ghastawala, which are the diamond processes. In the new draft, these processes are not specified, so we are confused about what we have to do. We wish to present this point before the Government Authority.
