Hi,
We are registered under the Haryana Shops & Establishment Act, and we have contractual employees working in different states such as Ahmedabad, Andhra Pradesh, Chennai, etc. Do I need to deduct LWF for them and submit LWF in their state or in our state, i.e., Haryana?

Hi,
This is to inform you that the Labour Welfare Fund Act is a state Act and you are required to implement it according to the state Act and Rules. You are to deduct and deposit Labour Welfare Fund contributions with the Haryana Labour Welfare Board only for those employees who are working at Haryana sites. For others, you are to deduct LWFC keeping in view the respective state Acts.
