Question About Bonus Deduction Practice

Hi, my name is Shravya. I recently learned from a friend that her company deducts a bonus every month from their salary and gives it back in October without any interest. Basically, it is taking your own money every month and returning it later. Is this the right practice to follow? Please let me know.

CTC does not mean just the gross pay. It is the total compensation paid to the employee by the employer. It includes bonuses, gratuity, ESI, and PF contributions from both employees and employers, as well as all other allowances. Many organizations follow this practice.
