Dear All

A tragic news come across to me in the new year day... Thought of sharing with all of you... This may be a reason for taking a new year resolution to many of us ; ie. "Not Drink & Drive"...

An allegedly drunk policeman ran over a 22-year-old woman in Mumbai, who later succumbed to her injuries suffered during the accident on Monday. Family and friends of the woman have alleged the policeman driving the van was drunk while the police have said the officer was not responsible.

Jan' 1st to 7th is observing as Road Safety Week with a theme “Stay Alive, don’t drink and drive”... Thanks to Raghu who already let this known to all of us in the below thread:

I think this is enough for all of us to take a New year resolution of "Not Drink & Drive"... See how a persons fault put one family into the depth of sorrows in the new year... Let's pray for the soul of that 22 year old girl...

Dear Dipil,

I know it is difficult to change everyone. There will always be a few people who will not change, but let them be what they are. Administration will take care of them. As of now, there are so many people breaking the rules, making it difficult for the administration to punish them all. However, if everyone takes their own responsibility, the number of rule breakers will decrease, making it easier to catch and punish them.

I doubt that we are going to realize this anytime soon, but let's hope for the best. All the best! Safe driving!

Enclosed is a 'Fatality Accident' news for your view. It happened in AP yesterday after the New Year celebration...

RIP!! May God rest her/his soul in peace...

Dear Raghu,

Thank you for your inputs. Such kind of incidents are happening at many locations in the country. The thing is that we have not come to know about them.

Let's try to learn from others' mistakes rather than waiting for our turn to come for others to learn from us.
