If you believe that only a degree can give you promotion and success in life, then you are highly mistaken, my dear. Knowledge, skills, experience, a good understanding of something, and hard work always pay off.
For example, a student who reads books throughout the year, repeatedly practices, and strengthens his/her knowledge, understanding, and skills through sincere efforts and hard work, results in success in exams. This can also be achieved through distance learning or while working in your current situation.
As a working individual in a good position, you have many opportunities to grow, learn, enhance your skills, improve your understanding and knowledge of your work, and build a good future. However, if you feel that simply doing your work sincerely and obtaining a degree will lead to significant success, then I am sorry to say that there are many others who also deserve the same. Why should it be you? Consider what sets you apart and what additional qualities you need to earn to attain this promotion.
You mentioned that you have heard that this PG Diploma can assist you in getting promoted. What you forgot to share with us, or I would say, ask yourself what you truly believe. Self-realization is something that can elevate an individual from earth to heaven, turning any ordinary person into someone remarkable or even special.
